SUPPORT...
sometimes you just need someone to help you work out what comes next.
Navigating SEND can feel like a lot.
You might be at the very beginning and wondering whether your child needs additional support. You might be trying to understand an EHCP, struggling with school, looking for the right service or simply not know where to start.
That's where Coffee, Chat & Support CIC comes in.
From our home at The Den, we provide free, friendly and practical support to children, young people and their families.
You don't need to have all the answers before you contact us.
And you don't need a diagnosis to ask for support.
SEND CLINIC...
bring the paperwork. bring the questions. we'll work through it together.
Our SEND Clinic gives families the opportunity to sit down with someone and talk through what's happening.
We can help with things such as:
EHCPs & EHC needs assessment requests
Annual reviews
School & education concerns
SEN support
Understanding letters and paperwork
Preparing for meetings
Finding appropriate services
Signposting to specialist organisations
Understanding what your next steps could be
Sometimes you might not even know exactly what help you need.
That's okay too.
Tell us what's happening and we'll help you work out where to start.
BOOK A SEND CLINIC APPOINTMENT
NOT SURE WHAT YOU NEED?
start with a conversation.
Not every question needs an appointment.
Sometimes you just need someone to listen, point you towards the right information or help you work out who you need to speak to.
Come and see us at The Den, explore our online resources or get in touch with the Coffee, Chat & Support team.
SUPPORT GROUPS...
because sometimes the best support comes from someone who gets it.
The Den is home to a growing range of support and social groups bringing people together to talk, connect, share experiences and feel less alone.
Our groups include support for parent carers, neurodivergent adults and people with different experiences and needs.
Some groups are peer-led, some are social, and others focus on a particular condition, experience or stage of the SEND journey.
RESOURCES...
looking for information right now?
