At Coffee, Chat & Support CIC, we believe that the people who experience the challenges should be at the heart of creating the solutions.
Our organisation was built by the community, for the community, and that belief is at the heart of everything we do.
Through our Make a Change initiative, we bring together a range of community-led projects designed to break down barriers, challenge inequalities, improve accessibility and create positive, lasting change across Somerset.
From our SEND Voices Campaign, giving families the opportunity to share their experiences and help shape future services, to our Inclusive Taunton Project, working towards making Taunton a more accessible, inclusive and welcoming town for everyone, our projects are driven by the needs and experiences of our community.
We believe meaningful change doesn't come from simply telling people what they need. It comes from listening, understanding lived experiences, working together and turning ideas into action.
Our projects will continue to grow and evolve, shaped by the voices, experiences and priorities of the people we support.
Whether you're a parent, carer, young person, local resident, professional or business, everyone has a voice and everyone has the opportunity to make a difference.
We want our community to do more than access support. We want people to feel empowered to influence decisions, challenge barriers and play an active role in creating the changes they want to see.

Welcome to the Co-Designed SEND Family Support & Wellbeing Project, delivered by Coffee, Chat & Support CIC and The Den Coffee House, with funding from Somerset HDRC Community Grants.
We believe the people who understand the challenges facing SEND families best are the families living those experiences every day.
Through this questionnaire, we want to understand the difference our support has made, the challenges families continue to face and what services and opportunities you would like to see developed in our community.
Whether you have attended our coffee mornings, accessed SEND advice, joined a support group or haven’t yet used our services, your voice matters.
Your feedback will help us:
💚 Understand how community support affects family wellbeing and isolation.
💚 Identify gaps in local SEND services.
💚 Improve accessibility and inclusion.
💚 Develop future activities and support shaped directly by families.
💚 Demonstrate the impact of our work and share what we have learned.
The questionnaire takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. You do not need to provide your name, and you can skip any questions you do not feel comfortable answering.
